Can I use a trackpad or a mouse on the whiteboard?

We discourage the use of a laptop or an external trackpad for the whiteboard because it doesn't follow finger movements when the fingers are not touching the surface, as a writing tablet does. Instead, we recommend using either a mouse or (even better) a writing tablet such as Wacom or equivalent. If you don't have a writing tablet, then you can use a mouse or a regular tablet device.
